Applying for a Place
We follow the local authority admissions policy. Admission to Nursery and Reception is through Tower Hamlets Primary Co-ordinated Admissions.

For admission to the school at other times, please also contact Pupil Admissions. A new parents meeting is arranged for children joining Nursery and Reception at the start of the school year. Parents of children joining at other times will be invited to a meeting with one of our Assistant Headteachers and Home Support Workers.
Applications for children starting primary or secondary school must now be made online and during the relevant application window as follows:
Primary (Reception) - 1st September 2025 to 15th January 2026
Secondary (Year 7) - 1st September 2025 – 31st October 2025
Nursery and Reception Places
Starting Nursery in September 2026: If your child was born between 1st September 2022 and 31st August 2023, you can apply now to start Nursery in September 2026.
Starting Nursery in Tower Hamlets
**A limited number of full-time places will be available to those who are eligible and have applied for the code at https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-tax-free-childcare **
The deadline to apply for a Nursery place for September 2026 is 14th February 2026.
Starting Reception in September 2026 - If your child was born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022 you will need to apply online in September 2025 to start in September 2026.
The deadline to apply for a Reception place for September 2026 is 15th January 2026.

Secondary Transfer information
If you live in Tower Hamlets and your child is in Year 6 (born between 1 September 2014 and 31 August 2015) you will need to make an online application via eadmissions portal for them to transfer to secondary school in September 2026. If your child has an EHCP please read further below.
The closing date for making applications is midnight on 31 October 2025.
National offer day will be 3rd March: Parents will be able to log into their account on eadmissions to view the outcome of their application on 3 March 2026. They will also receive an email, this is sent after 5pm.

**** Pupil with an EHCP ****
Secondary applications for pupils with an EHCP are not completed in the same way as general admissions. A paper form must be completed by parents/carers and returned by you to the email address mentioned on the form (do not apply via the admissions portal as this will cause complications). The deadline for EHCP secondary places is earlier than general admissions 22ND October
